Who I Am

I’m a builder who creates with intent. I care about the craft and don't like to leave things half done. I love building when the process or the end product means something to someone, and that usually means building with people.

I'm not too sure what exactly I want to dedicate myself to yet, but I know that I want to work on systems that automate the mundane, so people can focus on doing what's meaningul to them. It's something that I've watched people close to me need. This purpose and my fascination with electromechanical systems led me down the path of robotics.

I aim to be more than my career. I didn't do much outside of school as a kid, so I'm actively working on becoming well-rounded. Feel free to check out what I'm exploring below.

🎸 Guitar

I never focused on playing musical instruments as a kid, but I now realize its importance. Music lets me express myself in ways that words can't, and the acoustic guitar most resonated with my taste.

🎧 Music

Listening to music is one of the ways I relieve stress and boost my mood.

🎮 Gaming

I believe that games are a form of art as much as music and paintings. They can illustrate worlds and embed meaning with more depth and less ambiguity. Here are my favourites:

> Alan Wake 2 for its atmosphere and game mechanics
> Life is Strange for its storytelling and soundtrack

📚 Reading

I'm not against ambiguity however, as it allows the imagination to flourish. Books by nature incorporate ambiguity in the environments that they build, and often, their characters' motivations, leading to more personalized takeaways.

> I occasionally read non-fiction to gain perspective.

💬 Language

I grew up learning how to speak multiple languages, but it took quitting for me to realize that I genuinely enjoyed learning new languages. So I still do it today.
